What is with people’s obsession with blackheads, pimples, and other acne?

Apparently acne removing videos are very popular on YouTube. Not instructional ones. Just videos of people removing blackheads and popping pimples.
I get grossed out just from typing that, much less watching it for enjoyment. Does anyone here have the acne fetish?

Hohoho young Padawan. Watch Dr. Oakley, Yukon vet. There are scenes where she lances a boil on a wild animal and the goop just oozes out of there in huge clumps.
Not to mention that about once an episode she has to reach inside of a large animal's rectum to check if it is pregnant. The phrase of the day is industrial lube.
Bonus points... it is on Disney+!
My favorite moment is when the editors and closed captioning team didn't edit the good doc accidentally hitting an electric fence and screaming "shite arse".
