Well only 10 are currently laying. 20 are awkward teens in a brooder getting cuddled against their will.

I was like no more chickens. Then I won some eggs to incubate. So. I now have 20 eggs. And this should be fun.

A person I know her SIL was having a transplant today. So I donated money not thinking I would win but happy to support. And I won 20 eggs. It was a dozen and she gave me 8 extra. So Friday I start incubating them.

I have 65 birds now. No issues. I have them decently close to my hunting dogs and have 4 guineas with them so they are pretty good. Only get to roam supervised and have a recall to treats. <3

All of the above. It looks as though I may have only ended up with 1-3 roosters. So they will get to a decent size and become eaters.
But plan to eat them as they age and stop laying.
I also hatched eggs in an incubator, that was very fun.
Most impressive feat is I know all 65 by name.
