to be fair, the "apple pie moonshine" that a lot of people pass around at tailgates (I've seen it in athens and other places) is just a recipe with grain alcohol in it. It's not actual "moonshine".
I've only had moonshine twice in my life, and both times just completely melted me into a babbling, incoherent blob of idiocy.
