Yes, the dumb games where the dudes only had like five poses. I remember playing a football game where the dude would go from a QB pose, to a running back, to a Heisman pose to a dive every single time, if you were lucky enough to score.

ETA: Then this bad motherfricker came out.

But some of these kids did piss me the frick off. Especially the one kid who said there weren't any good games on the gameboy. Bitch the GOOD pokemon were on the gameboy. Damn kids.

The messed up thing is that it still had better games than a lot of these kids are probably playing on their iPads. Modern mobile games, at least on phones and apple products, are just shitty versions of old concepts but filled with DLC and in game purchases.

1977. My older brother had it and I played the heck out of it in the early 80s.

I got my first smartphone a year and a half ago. Last time I visited my family was before that, and my youngest sister (age 5 at the time) was showing me how to work an iPad because I couldn't figure it out.

Same here, I didn't get a cellphone until high school, a laptop until college, and an ipad last year.

This and Ocarina of Time are the only Zelda games I ever beat.

I put soooo many hours into that game on my GameBoy.


Also, when they made the kids turn them on, I anticipated that "ding" sound they make when the Nintendo logo pops up like a kid on Christmas. I got a huge nostalgia boner when it happened.
