If you pass threw Arkansas on 40 then Craigs in Devalls Bluff is a place you have to try at least once in your life. It's a little out of the way but if you love BBQ it truely is a must eat at place.

Pictures&Reviews

It's a complete hole in the wall joint.

This. They have good deviled eggs and pie as well as top notch BBQ.

If they're packed, try One and Only BBQ. It's a pretty much a carbon copy.

Is that the one at Kirby Parkway/Poplar next to the UPS place? If so, they are pretty dang good.

Not Commissary good, but good.

And make sure to get a piece of pie from the Commissary. Lemon Icebox is out of this world.

Went with The BBQ Shop. Damned tasty!

Ate it at the lovely Overton Park with the pup! Thanks all for the recommendations. I hope to have more time to explore Memphis in the future, and eat at all of the joints mentioned here....and visit the Stax museum! Nice quick little pit stop.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I haven't been to BBQ shop yet but will before long

I'm a big fan of Germantown Commissary and I eat at one and only quite often as my office is only 5 minutes away.

Another place that isn't BBQ but still amazing is Elwood's Shack. It's in the Lowe's parking lot on Perkins. Amazing food for a truly hole in the wall.
