No doubt. Some country is great and some you just have to laugh at. Same with rap, rock, reggae, folk........errrrthang really. Okie from mustogie(mis spelled I'm sure) makes me laugh everytime. So I guess that means I like it?

Anything past the 80's, unless it is George Strait, is pop music.

From Nashville, yes... but Texas country = win.

The last country concert I went to was the George Strait Festival in the late 90s. Great time and he's literally one of those guys that can just stand up there and sing and keep you entertained for the night. The Dixie Chicks (duck) also put on a really good show at that time too.

GOAT

Really one of the few country musicians I love. I like Conway and some other old country songs. I'm one who appreciates good music regardless of genre, but there is no good country music currently being produced (or at least played on the radio)

That's all I care for from a musician, I don't need the jumping and theatrics. If you're talented, you don't need to do anything but stand or sit and sing.

A couple years back I went and saw Garth on his farewell tour in Nashville. Legend. Plus I sung "Friends in low places" in church when I was 5. He would be so proud to know that. But big and rich type country needs erased from time.
