Spaghetti models now reflect a path that could take it into Alabama and Georgia as well as possibly going across the Florida Panhandle.

Stay tuned.

If it hits Asheville again, I'm going to wonder what they did to piss off the weather gods.

The Hands of God always protect Destin/Fort Walton and Tampa.

I had a lifetime residence of Fort Walton who was in his late 70's tell me this and he is right. Destin has never been hit hard. FWB got hit in 1995 but not direct hit from a cat 4 or 5.

Trump was not lying about that. There was a previous map that showed Alabama and Georgia in the cone. I saw it.

The projection slowed is the reason it went away. It ended up not even hitting Florida, but original it was expected to slam into Florida.

Yessiirr... I lived in Jax from 1985 til 2021. We had lots of wind lots of times, down near the river floods a good bit, but overall EXTREMELY lucky.
