If we are talking raised in GA:

Herschel Walker
Ty Cobb
Bobby Jones
Calling it early, but Calvin Johnson
And the best athlete to come from my highschool, Frank Thomas

Bobby Jones was born in ATL.

And while Frank was easily one of the more dazzling guys from GA, There's no way he tops Jim Brown in terms of "Legendary"-ness

I still left off great players for their games.

Bill Carr- 2 time gold medalist
Bill Dickey- 11 time All Star, 14 time World Series Champion, retired #8 for Yankees
Derek Fisher- 5 time NBA champ
Dan Hampton- NFL Hall of Fame

And on and on

To me the ones I listed people who follow sports will know

Please don't try and compare derek fisher to some of the athletes mentioned.

And the thread isnt how many good athletes are in your state

Really?

There aren't many NBA players all time who have more rings than Fisher. Besides, he wasn't on my original list.

Derek fisher just isnt one of the greats of the NBA.

I know he wasnt, nobody asked you to list extra from your state.

I think Alabama has the best top to 5-10 of any state.

You also have Barkley and Mia Hamm from Alabama as well.

So I'm guessing you mean that Jerry "The King" Lawler doesn't belong. Which I agree, WWF is retarded and fake. I shouldn't have added him in.

I'll replace him with Al Gore
