Because they can pay their way out of it.
Not saying I used the actual term to someones face but I knew in the back of my mind it was all good. When I got an underage drinking ticket in college, my dad paid for a lawyer to have it dropped.
Its great, I'll just pass it down to my kids when they go. The long circle of assholes, it's amazing.
