Not covered by insurance. Wife says they're 'kinda creepy'. Worth it?

Find a school that trains ultrasound techs nearby and you can get a free one, more than likely

Our daughter didnt really cooperate well, but the image was almost identical to what she looked like

Brag is too subtle. Not seeing it. And 4d is like seeing a jello mold of your undeveloped baby. Do you want to pay money to see a jello mold of your undeveloped baby? I'm pretty sure this is just another way to make money on emotional pregnant women.

Here, just tell her you already got it done and pocket the $45. Tell her she was emotional/hungry and doesn't remember.

I was thinking it looked more like claymation but yeah while weird I think it's pretty cool to see those features.

good idea but not happening. They're offered where we've been going. She likes it and feels comfortable there

Than you've married an unreasonable woman and will most likely die alone. A real man would have told his wife where the frick she's gettin her 4D pics taken.

Eh, that's like you found the crappiest example you could. The ones pinned up in the office look way better than that. They're more like this

Hmmm, that doesn't sound like something I would do. Are you gonna post them here when you get them?

Just remember the kids dont always work with you on the ultrasounds. So you might be paying for almost nothing.

If you dont mind paying, no big deal. I just thought it was a waste, since we already had the normal. Nothing wrong with the schools. its not like you are in front of everyone. its you, student and teacher. They dont have more than one student do it or in front of the class

We got them done for our second daughter but not our first. I have the picture in my office. Not framed so everyone can see but just behind my desk. I think it is really cool and I think they were only like an extra $75 at the OBGYN clinic we were going to. Got a DVD with it as well.

If your wife wants to get them, you will end up getting them anyways.

I think it's worth it.

I'm old so they didn't have the 4-D when I had my first and I got lucky with my second. The day of my 20 week appointment just happened to be the day the sales rep for the machine brought one to my OBGYN's office to test out so they asked me if I would like to help them test it.

We got like 25 pictures and and a 15 minute long DVD for free. I brought the pics to the hospital with me when I went into labor and I'll be damned if they didn't look just like her.

Unless they are charging an outrageous price (more than $200) I would say do it.

You'll be preparing yourself for budgeting for paying for photographers to do shoots of the new baby every three months.
