Can cats jump at least 2 feet high? That's half the height of the porch bannisters so I figured if they can't jump higher than 2 feet then 4 feet wouldn't be a problem.

Plus the bars are only 10 inches apart so there's no way a cat could fit through that.

@Frenzy, anything else I should do? It's the first time ever seeing a cat in person, let alone owning one...

Also cats are actually a liquid and as long as their head can fit the rest of them can too.

Gonna stop being so sarcastic. It gets old. Sorry.

Yes I've had many cats before, mainly outdoor ones who liked to chill inside half the time.

Magnificent, awful creatures.

Are the bars so they don’t steal your decor?

I like her face. She’s pretty.
They just want trinkets. Specifically tradeable. As long as you don’t have any small gold Buddhas or pirate medallions you should be okay.

Well, at least they won’t put them in the ocean and summon the kraken… so you have that going for you.

Best part of living way out is that cats aren't apex predators... but just another part of the food chain.

We have a feral cat problem in Florida and I'm not sure where else you will find more of a predator food chain in the US. We have panthers, black bears, alligators, pythons, monkeys with herpes and all kinds of shite - and over 10 million feral cats.

Hmm, you may be on to something.

Maybe DeSantis is screwing us by shipping illegal immigrants out of the state.

I don’t think most cats are gremlins, I have 1/3 that is, but not all. So you have like a 33% chance it’s all good.
