Margaret Hamilton was lead developer on the Apollo guidance computer that got us to the moon and back. Subsequently was so error free, despite computer limitations less than a pocket calculator, was also used on Skylab and the shuttle. It also was the basis for many commercial navigation systems.

Didnt that guidance system on Apollo 11 get overloaded and almost cause them to crash into a massive boulder and Neil Armstrong had to take control of the Eagle and fly it manually? Just sayin
