Your post is the result of decades of bleeding heart sociologists trying to redefine the term so that white people can still be the only "racists" in this country.

This.. I refuse to believe I should have white guilt

A system that reinforces their behavior. In trying to produce racial "equality" our country has spent the last 50 years enabling certain subsets of certain minority groups to wallow in their own filth.

In terms of employment, it's a good thing. And there is a reason for that.

Again, just because you're more roundly criticized doesn't mean you're being persecuted.

White male privilege is still a real thing. Don't worry.

ETA: And I'm white and male. This isn't a white guilt thing at all, but me simply recognizing that, by virtue of my race, gender, and who my parents are, I was born into a system which does disproportionately benefit me. I don't hate this, nor do I feel bad for it (because it's not like I myself am responsible for it), but I do acknowledge it.

How so? The statistics back me up. Look at the murders over the weekend in Chicago.

That's who should be the employed?

Please.

They'll just end up destroying their own neighborhoods like they did with King. Let 'em do it for all I care. I just want to see the American justice system to perform the way it's intended to- and that's to acquit Zimmerman based on the trial alone

This. Just like with the LA riots 95% of the people injured or killed will be black and almost all the damage will be to property owned by blacks or neighborhoods that are predominantly black.

Basically, they're going to get back at whitey by fricking up their own shite.

I don't see the difference.

-Against Afirmitive action = racist
-Against abortion = war on women
-against homosexuality = bigot
-against Obama and his policies = racist
-against Obamacare = war on the elderly
ect.......

This is all presented by the media.

All of this is dri

Dude, Jim Crow is persecution. Having Al Sharpton call you a bigot isn't.

We're comparing apples to fricking oranges here.

How long is the slavery excuse allowed? How long is the welfare state allowed to keep blacks down?

Give me a break. I was born in '81. I have no life bearing during my time that blacks are held down.

Many of them have more money than I ever will.

This guilt shite is pathetic.

Absolutely. Bigotry and prejudice are still a big issue (please don't make an idiot of yourself and try to deny this), but persecution just isn't there.

You probably don't even know why and how blacks became slaves

Tracing it back to it's origin, slavery in the Americas was a by-product of warring African tribes. The majority of slaves sold to Europeans in the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries were sold to them by other black Africans who captured them and pawned them for goods and profit.

Essentially, black Africans became slaves in the west due to being the cheapest option for an expanding civilization. They took advantage of a backwater society that sold human beings for pennies on the dollar for food and water.

Sure doesn't help me when I get shut out of contracts for not being a woman/disadvantaged minority.

I can understand the nation may have a debt to pay, but putting me at a disadvantage as a third generation American sure seems to put an undue portion of that debt on me.

Where did I mention slavery or the welfare state?

You mean you haven't observed our criminal justice system? Our housing disparities? Healthcare disparities? Unequal access to food? Our shitty public schools - except for in the suburbs, of course.

Well it's not my fault that you're poor.

It's not a literal "privilege", per se. But you are far more likely to have an easier life for whatever reason

In business, people hire people like themselves. If its white men in charge of hiring, they will gravitate towards hiring other white men. I was a recruiter for three years and battled this frequently.

You have to peel back the layers and not buy into stereotypes, and can find good people in every race and both sexes.

I've been a working mother for the past 6 years, and I can tell you I outperform a lot of male counterparts, but I could tell you some stories about what older white men think about us working mothers.

White men are not superior business people, you just have more mentors.
