That's the tough one. I have a lot of friends and family that support him, many of whom I have a lot of love and respect for and that I know are far from dumb. A lot of these same people refused to vote for Roy Moore in the recent Alabama Senate election, so I know they at least have a line too far in their voting. I've mostly chosen to not engage with them politically. It's a no-win situation.

Yeah, sorta same here except I only have two friends who support the moron (both in Alabama). I do engage them and call them stupid whenever I feel like it though. My dad voted for trump because he won't vote for a democrat. My mom refused to vote for either and wrote in a candidate.

I don't really know what to do about trump supporters. The problem is they just deny reality and use "alternative facts" (lies). It is kinda hard to do anything with someone who is irrational and just says fake news and ignores facts.

I voted for Trump but only to avoid a Hillary Clinton presidency. She was an awful candidate. I wish I could vote for Bill Clinton to come back. He was far better than the two choices we had.

That said.....

You are trolling here.

Most ignorant?

Most dishonest?

Most incompetent?

Most lazy?

I will add the most unqualified? A 1/2 term congressman.

I don’t like or love trump. But I do like the fact that he appears to have pushed the pause button on this SJW madness and is appointing conservative federal judges at a quick pace. If he can return the US Supreme Court to normalcy and stay out of wars.....I could care less what he tweets or who he has sex with.

So your argument is that someone with absolutely no political experience, that often showed signs of an at best elementary understanding of our democracy, was more qualified that someone that had served, albeit briefly, in the US Senate? Not saying Obama was highly qualified, but that is pretty ridiculous.

The rest are just opinions, and I guess it depends on how you define qualified, but your statement indicates you're basing it on political experience since you cited Obama's term in Senate.

Yes.

1. Ignorant. Trump is semi-literate. He cannot spell and has terrible grammar. He has never read a book in his entire life. Family connections got him into college and by all accounts he was a terrible student. He has said so many things anyone of which could EASILY be considered the most ignorant statement EVER made by a U.S. president. In fact he has probably said the dumbest 20 or 50 things ever by a POTUS. Just 3 as examples: An increase in stock prices could pay off the debt. Global warming is a Chinese hoax. He didnt know what the nuclear triad was. I could literally list 50 other really ignorant statements by him that even an average person knows more than him on.

2. Dishonest. This is a gimmie and layup. Objectively he is exponentially more dishonest than anyone ever seen before in politics. He averaged 7 objective lies a day and doesnt care. I mean he does not care 1 bit that he is lying and people know he is lying daily. And he has only held 1 press conference his entire presidency. It's really unbelievable.

3. Incompetent. This is a given as well. He has zero leadership qualities, has one legislative accomplishment that was 100% done by others (tax cuts). He cant advocate for anything because he doesnt understand anything. Despite having control of all 3 branches, trump cant lead his party or even command their respect because he is incredibly incompetent in every way imaginable. No knowledge, no leadership, doesnt even know where he stands on much of anything from day to day.

4. Lazy. Idiot sits around eating shite and watching tv all day. Way too lazy to learn or read policy, his briefings are abridged and dumbed down to an extreme so he can go back to watching tv each day. Then he plays golf nonstop even though he ran his mouth about Obama playing golf about 10% as much as fatass.

Dude is the biggest joke in U.S. political history. It is neither close nor debateable.

People from the poliboard are trickling over, please don’t continue this. That board quarantines then nicely so that normal people can talk here. Go troll them there if you wish.

Ermm. This is awkward.

Carter is far from the most ignorant man to be President, he is an honest to God Nuclear Engineer. He's likely the most intelligent, in terms of sheer, raw, natural intelligence, President we've had since Woodrow Wilson. Carter's problem was that he was a vindictive SOB and tried to micromanage everything. Those are the two issues that steered his Presidency into the dirt.

Hillary Clinton is far from Honest Abe level of moral integrity but we've had a whole slew of Presidents who would cheerfully lie their asses off, and they'd do it a lot better then her. Eisenhower or, to a lesser extent, Bill Clinton, could stand in front of you and lie right to your face... and make you believe them even though you knew they were bullshitting you. Hillary is amateur hour compared to a pro like Nixon.

Bush the Elder, by almost any standard a historian would care to use was a competent President and probably one of the most prepared to be President when he took office. But for exceptionally poor luck in having a (as it turns out very brief) recession hit just as he was starting his campaign against one of the most able campaigners in modern history he'd have easily had a second term. Which means we would not have gotten...

Bush the Lesser, did love his vacation time so that is pretty reasonable. Bush the Lesser is a paragon of laziness and taking vacations, but if Trump lasts 8 years he's got a decent chance of catching him at the rate he's going.

Obama had not held office long as a Senator but had been around politics for some time. Trump falls more into line with someone like Grant or Eisenhower, but both of those men at least had decades of experience in the military.

You can make a strong argument that Trump was the lesser of two evils between him and Hillary. I think South Park addressed the election quite aptly in the "Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich" episode though.

Perhaps.

My family holds plenipotentiary interests in a certain worldwide petroleum-based conglomerate. And Trump's economic policies closely align with our own interests.

But then again he has no choice. If you will look back carefully the economic policies of every US President since WWII has matched what the dictates of my family's company. And they will continue to do so.
