Ok so from what I can tell the storms that produced the tornados in pearl, Brandon and areas around there is pretty much going to follow I-20 to north meridian.

Storms are always worse at night because you can't see them coming... especially storms that may spawn tornadoes.

Yep, it's hard enough to see them during the day with all the trees and hills we have, add in the dark and it makes it impossible.
