After yesterday's event I would be surprised if the atmosphere above the Southern U.S. had enough energy left to sustain another major outbreak of tornadic storms.

It's not nearly as hot or humid as it was yesterday. Just not enough coming out of the south this time I don't think. Still, there could be an isolated one or two, possibly.

I doubt there's enough sheer either. The wind here was ripping yesyerday. Been fairly calm today.

Seeing some impressive lift outside my apartment. Cloud is billowing up fast enough to see it change.

That's fairly obvious at this point. Looking to my northish right now here in Baton Rouge. Anvil cloud forming with absurd growth for this part of the world. I've never seen a cloud structure grow that quickly.
