On a more serious note, anyone know what kind of damage the Holly Pond tornado caused?

I'm not surprised by that picture. The signature on radar was of a very strong tornado. The only one other than that one yesterday was the tornado that rolled into Bessimer last night, but it was too unstable of a situation for that strong to keep it going for a long time (thankfully).

Here is a good link to the different videos of the tornados so far this week.

Supposedly the guy is going to keep it updated as they continue to come in.

Pretty much all high school athletic events in the north half of the state have been postponed.

There were some unconfirmed injuries last night, but haven't heard anything since then. It was the same one that came by me.

On a side note, I'm really terrible at finding anything on social media. I've been trying to find the pictures that my wife showed me earlier, but I've failed miserably.

My wifes grand parents live in Holly Pond and they said they heard it, but didn't see it. They haven't been out to see what happened.

I would move out of Athens as quickly as possible. They have been the target for a lot of these things the last few years.

We were going to check our kids in late (we stayed up sitting in the basement), then the school called saying that they were shutting down 2hrs early. So..... They got the day off

they are saying at least 3 touchdowns in Limestone...could have been the same one but they had a few cells pass across that area.
