The one death in Tuscaloosa was a 21 year old, University of Alabama student. He was on the swim team and died saving his girlfriend from a collapsing wall. So sad.

Yeah, fell asleep at 10:30 and woke up around 11:30 to see we were in the polygon for that Bessemer/Birmingham tornado. Was about to wake the family up when they said it was weakening so I went back to sleep.
Wife was mad at me this morning for not waking everyone up and getting downstairs.

They need to go on and postpone the AHSAA soccer playoff games tonight. I'm supposed to ref the Calera@Holy Spirit game in Tuscaloosa and I know there's another game between Oak Mountain@Northridge

Sucks. There are pine limbs impaled, standing straight up everywhere in the front yard like some blair witch project shite.. I'm just glad my structure is fine. I'll be helping the neighbors with theirs after work.

The guy that died in Tuscaloosa was from Tupelo. He was an awesome guy, I had the chance to swim with him for a year. What a horrible day.
