AT 1004 PM CDT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WAS TRACKING A
CONFIRMED TORNADO NEAR SHELTON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE...OR 9 MILES
SOUTH OF TUSCALOOSA. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THIS TORNADO MOVING

Do we have a track on that T-Town tornado? Is it still on the ground?

It really seems to be headed north of the most populated areas. I hate it for those folks in the path though.

Should I be worried if I'm in highland park in downtown Birmingham? I live on the second/ top floor.

Would it be wise to drive to my girlfriends in Chelsea?

Thanks. I'm currently texting friends in T-Town about this storm. I just need to be updated.

Driving is probably not the best idea. Get to the ground floor if you are directly in the path. One of the Birmingham posters can confirm that for you.
