You're basically saying that Mexico has license to bomb our innocents, 70+ years after the war ended and we had taken their land.

So you'd be completely content if China came over and annexed Hawai'i and took all of your shite? What exactly do you expect the Palestinians to do? It was their country and was taken by force.

The notice states that applicants must be male, in the ranks of E-4 through E-8, have at least two and a half years of service remaining in their enlistment, be 21 years or older, and score high enough on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test to attend a briefing to be considered for admission. (Protip: There are no 21 year old applicants ever accepted into training for DF.)

The ASVAB requirements are strict and rightfully so, but there are three other aptitude tests given that carry much more weight.

And they most certainly do accept 21 yrs olds into the program. Happens all the time. Doesn't mean they'll graduate all phases of the program, few do, but there have been plenty of 21 yrs olds who have entered the program.

They did kill civilians...and Israel is still actively launching a campaign against Palestinians to take and occupy their land.

The difference is Mexico still had an abundance of rich land in resources.

Palestine has fricking nothing, and has no where to go. I understand both sides, but Israeli's took by force and are receiving force in return.

No. They don't. There may be people who say "yeah sure I was 21 and got into orientation phase" but that shite does not happen. There will never be a contemporary operator who is 21 years old unless he is especially gifted. That's why most of the time they're not accepted.

And 21 is a much better age than 17. "Plenty" is something you're going to have to qualify. Is that 40% of a class?

20?

10?

5? I'd say any given class may have 5% of its applicants entering at an age before 24, let alone at 21.

I've personally met 17 year old SEAL candidates.

That's an absurd comparison. They had trade, resources and a ton of land.

When you keep people hungry and take away and hope of a better life, they tend to get violent.

I pointed that out as well. Palestinians are being starved, beaten and murdered.

Taking someone's land is one thing, running an active campaign to eradicate them, make it impossible for them to immigrate is a completely different matter.

I wanna see a link that there a fewer resources. I googled it and it said the opposite, there's actually been problems of Israel taking Palestine's resources because they have more.

Perhaps, maybe, just maybe, the Israelis are just more resourceful.

I wonder if the Palestinians get all warm and fuzzy knowing of all the Americans that sympathize with them

Anyway, my real point was the "they took our land" is just part of the mythology, the "spiritual struggle." It was 70 years ago. No one is alive whose land was taken. It's just bullshite.

I'm glad you can say this comfortably from a home that doesn't have a military force that treats you like a second rate citizen after taking your homeland away from you.

America took a chunk of Mexico, they didn't invade, occupy, and hold Mexico City for 70 years.

Do you think the Native Americans, if they had the capacity, wouldn't fight us?

Do you think they'd be like "guess this is our life now"?

Any group of people being actively suppressed by any other group of people will act violently if they have the capacity to.

I don't expect you to understand from the comfort of your recliner.

I don't think they would be justified in doing so. No.

I don't know how to respond to "taking my homeland". I'm from Alabama, in the 1860s "we" did fight for our homeland, lost, and the victors then totally changed and dominated "our" way of life. And I aint even mad.

You don't think fighting back against a violent, imperialist force taking your home, your resources and your goods by belligerence is correct?

Goddamn I hope someone breaks into your home tonight.
