Memphis BBQ is still better than Texas, but holy shite. I just ate at a spot called CattleAck BBQ in Dallas and it's without a doubt the best Texas BBQ I've ever had. The beef rib was the size of my femur, not giblety, and absolutely amazing. Anyone in the area should check it out. They have weird hours and open at 10:30AM-3, or until sold out. Most days they have a line 50 deep, even through the week, and sell out quick.
