Shows that rely heavily on shock value to be funny don't interest me. Maybe when I was younger and immature, just not anymore.

10 years ago, I would've said Family Guy, but now I have to say South Park.

Ha. I don't watch a ton of TV that isn't sports or movies, but I watch Modern Family, Parks and Rec, and Seinfeld reruns for my comedy.

Modern Family had a toddler cuss on television. Is that not a shock moment? Wasn't it funny? I rest my case

Im not sure how a high schooler would get even half the vague references that family guy throws out.

another point in south parks favor is they can have a fluid season and cover something right as it is happening since they make the episode in 6 days. Family guy is slower on production so by the time they touch something it is old boring news for the most part.

One episode. That all you got? 99% of the shows funny moments are the result of great writing/acting. Not cartoon people crapping and vomiting.

South Park and it isn't close. The only funny thing about Family guy is Stewie. FG was better in its early years but now it's just as outlet for Seth McFarlane's political and religious views.
