Multiple tornadoes here in SC occurring with the worst yet to arrive. Several counties in SC and Ga under a State of Emergency bc of extreme tornado damage.

Y'all alright??

I'm in New Orleans but everything seems fine here ... my office doesn't have any windows though.

Stay safe out there.

All good here, been a relatively calm day in regards to other places. Two strong cells that could hit me, but that's probably it for the night

Per Glenn Burns tweet today... in 2017 Georgia has recorded more confirmed tornadoes than any other state so far.

Listen to what my dog did today.

He wears a shock collar to keep him from digging under the fence or scratching at the door.

Because of the storms...

Today he dug up the signal wire and ripped it apart with his mouth, getting shocked the whole time, then got access to the door and chewed out the door frame on both sides. Blood all over the door frame and door.

fricking psycho beagle.

He has a really nice doghouse, off the ground, bone dry, under a large 2nd story porch. It's not like he was trapped in the open with storms and hail and whatnot.

Just a fricking psycho.

I went to the store after I thought he'd calmed down and left a window up. He's a dachshund so he's a serious lowrider, so I didn't think about leaving it up.

I came home no more than 20 minutes later and I noticed his barking from inside sounded much louder than normal, even with the window up.

Step onto the porch and the screen was ripped up and pushed completely out of the window and he was hanging half way out like a stretch limo.

No idea how he reached it...he's 17 yrs old so I didn't know he could still move like that.

He was exceedingly proud of himself.

While comical, this is probably really bad for his back.

This is a dog who has somehow learned how to roll down the window in the car.

He has an unhealthy fascination with windows and really believes he is a human.

He does have arthritis in his spine and has slowed down since we had to euthanize ( ) his buddy who was 9 and kept him active.

Even with the shite weather yesterday and Monday, my house in Lexington didn't have as much as a stray stick fall in the yard. Very fortunate.
