Is there any toilet paper? I swear, if anything comes on the news people in South Carolina freak out and buy out a supermarkets entire stock of something. Now it’s TP, and bread. Can’t even get baby wipes hardly for my 1 year old because grown arse people with no kids are buying them all up due to the TP shortage.

People are stupid...I've been saving the good stuff, Jack Daniel's, coke, and chocolate.

I don't understand the toilet paper shortage, why is the virus causing this?

Some people thought of possible shortages and bulked up
Other people made fun of people for bulking up
People who otherwise wouldn’t bulk up are now bulking up because everyone else is
It’s a vicious cycle

I remember years ago Johnny Carson joked about a toilet paper shortage on his show and it created one.
Folks do crazy things.

When you understand that 1/2 of our population is below average intelligence you reach acceptance.
TL/DR: People are stupid.

We went to lunch while out today at an O'Charley's in a busy area. We got there about 11:45, and there was no one eating yet. We left at 12:30, and only one person came in and picked up a togo order, not one other person came in and sat down to eat.

Went to Walmart today and came upon the regular TP aisle and saw nothing as far as the shelf reached. Walked back to the dairy section which is at the back of the store and has a very wide aisle (about 3 times wider than your normal aisle) only to see TP displayed on the floor (about 10 stacks of TO head high). There were employees back there limiting the amount of bread, milk, eggs, and TP customers could grab. So all of these pictures being spread on Facebook and Twitter *may* be taken out of context. I can't imagine my WM is the only one doing this.

That’s a reactive response
Guarantee your Walmart got cleaned out or saw it happening elsewhere and said “nah frick that”
I’ve seen Costco regulating TP sales as well, recently. People are idiots. I saw one post about a guy buying THREE PALLETS of Lysol wipes

I had to go to the local Winn Dixie today to find milk for the toddler because the high-end grocery store my wife went to was out of the whole milk organic DHA stuff for the babe.
There was some of higher-priced milk (except what I was looking for, of course), but all of the less-expensive milk was gone. All cow's milk was getting thin.
The less expensive meats (pork and chicken) were wiped out.
There was no toilet paper and only a few rolls of paper towels left.
They said it would be 2 weeks before there was any hand sanitizer back in stock.

I still havent braved a trip to the store yet. I live alone and I've got 3.5 rolls of TP. If this thing breaks bad I may have to move into my kleenex puffs plus surplus.

You better clip them fingernails.

Used to play offensive line in high school and to avoid getting your nails caught in the mesh jersey (and having your nail ripped right off) or keep the mud from caking under them it was always just best to trim em all the way down. I still do it today just out of habit.

Do you have trees where you live? If so, you have options.
