Nailed me with a hard red south of Lubbock and DFW.

I have learned just from West Texas that there are some certain dialect differences between myself and Central/East Texas.

First few times I ordered a breakfast burrito they gave me this monstrosity instead of what they call a "taco"

There was also a stark difference in what we call Mexican food, medium rare, and what "going to town" means.

poboys is just the shortened version of poor boys. Its not very common to hear poor boy now so not sure how that was on the survey

My most was Columbus Montgomery and Birmingham

My least was Detroit buffalo and Springfield mass.

Pretty red in the non-Texas southern states.

Fwiw it's dialect and not specifically accent. I don't have much a southern twang, it's more my vernacular.

Most similar: Arlington, Irving, Ft. Worth
Least Similar: Philadelphia (where I have lived ha), providence RI, and Worcester MA

It appears my time spent in Texas left quite an impression.
