I've photographed some pretty amazing places without a professional camera. These were just this weekend.

I want to try my hand at UrbEx soon.

Thanks. It was gorgeous. It took 14 years for the original monks to build the current monastery. It was completely built by hand.

The monks that established it traveled down from the Abbey of Our Lady of Gethsemani in Kentucky, which I've also visited, to build this monastery in 1944.

It was originally in the wilderness but it's now less than half an hour from Atlanta.

There is another nice one just outside of Paris in Arkansas, and another just north of Louisville in Indiana.
