Every fan base has a main hub for its fans and alumni. Some cities obviously have multiple but every base has that go to city.

LSU - Houston/New Orleans
A&M - Houston/Dallas
Auburn - Atlanta
Alabama - ?
Tennessee - Nashville
Ole Miss - Memphis
Arkansas - ?
Missouri - St Louis/KC
what are some others?

LSU can claim Houston just as much as Nola. There’s a ton of LSU alumni and fans in H town

Brentwood, Tenn is a hub of former Big Six frat boys all working in the financial sector together, probably marrying off their daughters to the sons of other Big Six royalty

Scratch that, I don't think any LSU grads work in finance, and Florida grads would all bounce back and forth from Miami to New Jersey

So make that Big Four for Brentwood

I'm sure the aubies got some architecture firms in Brentwood, instead of finance

So anyway, I'm sure a Bama dad or a Georgia dad are happy when their daughter marries a Tenner or a Aubie, but all hell breaks lose if they were ever to marry a Gator or a cajun

LSU is probably 4th or 5th when it comes to school’s alumni In Houston.

Sure Houston has the most alumni in Houston but if LSU is claiming Houston then A&M is DFW & San An too.

Yeah... OP did this wrong. Should really only have one metro per school.

A&M is definitely Houston. I’d peg the tsips for DFW

I'd say Tampa over Orlando, at least seemed that way every time I make it to the west coast of FL...

UGA is Atlanta and Savanah

Vanderbilt - Nashville seems obvious for alumni but for sports fans, it's probably 65/35 Tennessee/Ole Miss

2. A&M
3. ??
4. ??
5. LSU
Yeah I don’t think so. It’s gotta be LSU in that 3rd spot.

As a lifelong resident of SC, that's just not true. Maybe in Mt. Pleasant, as Wando has always been a Clemson feeder school, but the downtown area is split and West Ashley has always been a pro-Gamecock area. That's not including the barrier islands and suburbs in Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. Besides the Midlands, USC's biggest bases of support are on the coast from Myrtle Beach to Beaufort.
