I'll be passing this along to the NATS on our board. I'm sure they'll enjoy that little factoid.

I'm going to make a completely asinine, subjective, and pointless claim: I could put together five people from Auburn that could drink more beer over the course of a day than a group most guys at OM, UGA, UA, and LSU could. No other drugs allowed.

Anyone who says "our school drinks more than yours" or something to that effect, is retarded.

Never said we as a school drink more. I was, in a way, making the point that it largely depends on who you hang out with as far as what your opinion of that school's party scene is.

I also admitted up front that it was a moronic premise.

ETA: it's the no other drugs that would be a big kicker for a lot of the guys I've hung out with from those schools.

I didn't do a very good job tying my point to the claim. That said, we'll be in CS this fall...

Power hour is for pussies that want to pregame the bar...

Seriously I just hate having to pour that many damn shots of anything.

Miss State is absurdly terrible

Depends on what type of Nightlife you seek. If you're looking for the rage/rave type party with dubstep (which is terrible imo) then it's hard to find in Starkville. Just not a big portion of our student population is into that type of stuff.

If you're looking for a more regular club that plays DJ music between a good country or rock band, then we have plenty of that. Or if you prefer a relaxed social bar scene we have a lot of that.

Starkville is split between country students and preppy students so the nightlife reflects that. Not many "ravers or ragers" go to MSU.

Mizzou has some good nightlife. I haven't been to early all the SEC towns - yet - but I'd think Mizzou should probably rate fairly well. It's a big school, borders downtown, there are lots of classic college bars as well as dance clubs, live music, sports bars, pool halls, outdoor patios and decks, and a big Greek system that is always having parties of some kind. If you're a student, or recently out of school, there is always a good time to be had.

Yeah Mizzou is definitely hopping at night. Plenty of bars, lax liqour laws, huge Greek system, free sober rides sponsored by the university, etc. Mizzou has a reputation for being a party school in KC. You can easily find a good time 7 nights a week.

Maybe it's just that I'm getting old, but "I drank X beers last night" isn't at all impressive to me. Awesome, you can fill you fat belly with beer. Pardon me while I don't give a shite.
