Babies show racial bias, study finds
Babies are more likely to choose playmates of their own ethnicity in a phenomenon known as 'in-group bias'
Proof that racism is somewhat natural. Everyone is racist to some extent

The problem is when you get confused and forget which racist team you're playing for

Actually, some happens without family influence. Experiences will contribute as well.

I hate when babies show really obvious racial bias like locking the car door when a black guy walks by

Experiences of unfair treatment. It's not race or gender exclusive.

I can understand that from a black point of view, not a white one.

North Carolina. Hell, anywhere.

Why do dogs raised by one race often show hostility to people of different races?

An older relative once said, "I'm not prejudiced, I'm just experienced."

Good. Now that that's out of the way, I can come out.

Statistics are racist, and they are what make me prejudice.

Infants aged 15 months normally choose a playmate who is perceived as being fair, sharing toys equally for example, regardless of that person’s colour.
But if a baby sees a person of the same race as them unfairly distribute toys in a way that benefits another of their race then the baby wants to be playmates with that person.
Would this not indicate a learned behavior, not a bias by birth?

hat aside: Even here in Mexico, young children will identify white babies as good, attractive and noble and black babies as the exact opposite

The only thing we discriminate against is Nola's ERA tonight

I just thought it was interesting that even children who are dark skinned don't trust those that are dark skinned.
Even if you go back to ancient China and Japan, they had their women be as fair as possible and held it in high esteem.
My girlfriend is practically white, too.
