I frequently read accusations of alters on this site.
Do you guys think posters really create alters and if so, why?
What is the point of an alter? To give yourself an upvote? To have one poster publicly agree with yourself?
KSG would smell that a mile away. He knows almost everything about us from our post history.
He could read the patterns of you AND your alter posting and catch you in the act.

Maybe people use alters to do that but it wouldn't be wise because admins can see who voted for who on what. Most alters are used to create troll threads from oblique angles or act out a unique routine, those ones can be quite fun if carried out well and in small doses.
Then there's another set of malicious alters, created by people who've been banned, to do more nefarious things.

Nah, I only do what anyone else can do and read people's posts. Most people end up posting enough about them to reasonably guess who they are when everything is put together. Post aggregation and a little creative googiling and you could probably dox half of the board.
Bottom line is to be vary wary of what you post online, switch up usernames and passwords, and obscure what details you do post. You might not be doing anything wrong or need to worry about your behavior but crazy people on the internet are a thing. I obviously don't know everything about everyone, I only know what you post and only look if I have a reason to...like an AMA. What I do know is that Ozarks is an alter...but he is not mine for the record.

You're a hell of a poster, but not happening.
I've been banned many times but never created an alter. First banning was for threatening to kill Updyke the day the news broke about him poisoning the trees. That banning was a long one. Not really deserved though - Updyke can kiss my arse. Rest of my bannings were all from the Poliboard since the rise of trump. The admin of that board does not allow dissenting opinions and I do not give a frick about being censored so I called the jackass admin out every time he anchored or deleted or tried to stifle legit discussion. Then I told the jackass to perma ban me from the poliboard, but to frick off messing with my account on the other boards. Which he did.

It is terrible. The admin of that board is the biggest joke in the history of message boards IMO.
It used to be bad/biased, but reasonable and worth posting on. Now it is just a cesspool of stupidity and crazies. And that is due to the board's administration.

This guy could have went Cajun Frenchie or Canadian or anything.
Last week he was missing fingers and could hardly spell because of it and this week he only misspells one or two words a post. I can't figure out his end game.
