Saying that they didn't support anyone losing their job. Then asked directly about the tweet by players, went into this melodramatic thing about his players calling him crying and he thought it was the right thing to do to support them.
Weak minded shite. The right thing to have done was explain the consequences of one's decision and standing behind that decision, despite how difficult it is. He and that AD should also resign.

Absolutely they should. The encouraged students to break a legal agreement, because in Pinkels words.. "they were upset and crying." That, in his mind justified it. He then stated he doesn't keep up with everything his players do and didn't know much more about the situation.
If he had been a leader of men, he would have spoken to them about their obligations, and that doing the right thing, is sometimes, the hard thing to do. And helped them figure out a way to reach their goal, without acting on a mob mentality and pure emotions.
He's a joke of a leader and that AD should be fired as well. They'll continue to contradict themselves from here on out, because they too, lacked integrity in their decision making and are too cowardly to face the truth and the crowds now.
