“It is what is” doesn’t seem to annoy me like some others on here. It means “it’s reality”- when reality is pretty shitty sometimes. Makes sense imo. There are a lot of cliche sayings much worse. People who use “it is what it is” are at least realist to me. Idk get why it annoys you people.
