He’s still my guitar hero. I will get back to him.

Childers just sounds like a whiney bitch.
Tyler Childers is the least problematic artist of the decade. He doesn’t say anything about shite.
Not really sure where this is coming from. The dude keeps to himself. The Turnpike Troubadours comparison is god awful too.
I saw him in concert. The dude wore flannel and a baseball cap, introduced his band, did a great concert, and walked off.
He has a very rough, authentic country voice. It’s certainly not whiny.
You most likely don’t like him because he’s always associated with Sturgill.
This is a very poor take. Possibly the worst in this thread. May God have mercy on your soul.

By the way, the reason you may think his songs sound “generic” is because he’s started to become too big.
Some of his bad songs have infiltrated pop-country playlists, thus why they are seen as his best.

Nah. I’ll listen to what you posted above. But his songs all sound the same.

I think I had a get off my lawn night last night.
Mea culpa: Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers are better than 97% of music “artists” today and Metamodern is a modern time musical masterpiece.

Cody Jinks- Lifers
Jinks doesn’t have an album that I’ll listen to start to finish but he has some great individual songs
TG, I think this is more of your type of country.

Dire Straits is so underrated. Everyone knows Money For Nothing and Sultans of Swings, which are incredible songs, but they have some lesser known great albums.
