It's all a show. They have been setting us up for a long time. I won't fall for it, I REFUSE. I only listen to my intuition, it guides me on everything from research to decision making about investments, etc. and has never let me down.

We are a country that lets a few hundred people dictate the conversations. We think these people represent what America is about, but most are just fringe losers. How many people protest the following:
Ferguson
Charlotsville (both sides)
New York
Dallas
NFL Games
The Press will occasionally show these entire crowds, and most could fit in a HS gymnasium. The truth is that the Press tries to portray these few people as representing 350 million. They do it for ratings.

Here is my take.
The NFL messed up by allowing the players to inject their politics ONTO the field. They were afraid of the backlash from players and media if they told them they had to stand so they hoped it would just go away.
But it didn't go away. And it pissed the fans off. Now they are stuck because they allowed it and are afraid to not allow it but know they run the risk of further eroding the image of the league.
On the players side there are mixed attitudes but they don't want to break the unity of the player, not out of brotherhood, but because it will impact performance and endanger the union.
All of their hopes that people would lose interest in their shitshow were dashed when Trump decided to gin up the base by blasting the league and the players.
The league is so fricked at this point that they don't have an organized reaction so you have players kneeling for our anthem while standing for foreign anthems. Some teams try to duck the issue by not coming out of the locker room. Probably the wiser teams just came out and let the players do whatever they individually wanted to do because that was what they have been doing all along. Why draw more attention?

Do you honestly think that people who played football were always millionaires? In the 70's, 60's, 50's they were all playing for an average salary. Also college football has been around some 50 years before the nfl ever existed and it will be around long after it goes.
