Greeks likely hold strong in this one. Funnel them outside and make the much smaller Japanese win the areal game. Smart but not a beautiful strategy.

On tap for tomorrow:

Italy/Costa Rica
Swiss/France
Honduras/Ecuador

Nothing terribly exciting, but I want to see the first two games.

They beat England. Costa Rica beat Uruguay and now Uruguay beat England. If they beat Italy, well, it'd just be interesting.

Sucks that they got injured, I just hope we can do enough damage up front to take the W and advance to the next round.

Clearly a penalty should have been awarded to Costa Rica. It was a terrible, terrible challenge.

BUT THEY SCORE ANYWAY. Get out of here Italy.

Costa Rica has really stopped attacking. I guess they think one will be enough?

I guess so, really. I would never trust Italy, though.

They're some dirty players.

It's what they're banking on. Best to not get caught out and suckerpunched by the more athletic Italians. Hunker down and try to get your three points and advance.

I guess you're right but I don't have a very good feeling about it. I hope I'm wrong. Oh yeah, and screw Italy.
