I'm MORE nervous for this G7 than I was 8 years ago against Detroit. At least those Pistons weren't as coddled.

I have no jimmies to rustle. I cut jimmies off with rusty knives.

If Spoelstra is able to get the heat ready to play in game 7 then I will have to cease callin him chizik. Although I don't know how much will be due to him if they are ready to come out firing.

I'm convinced that SA has to run away and hide early in order to have a shot at winning by single digits.
I'm not convinced we have the legs to do so after tonight.

Timmy did look tired at in OT and he got a ton of fest in the 4th.

This one took a toll on MIA, too.
If game 7 is close, we're gonna see two VERY tired teams limping to the finish line.

I mean at one point the Spurs had it in the bag, then the Heat somehow tied it up. It's hard to recover from that.
If we see anymore of what we saw during the second half - everyone flying to the loose ball, fighting for every single inch, it's gonna be another hell of a game. That was some awesome basketball. I'm hoping for DESPERATION [ON] [OFF] the entire second half. If that happens, gas in the tank won't matter

i just really like miami in this scenario. losing like this with only one day rest. its gonna be tough

Another way to look at it is, the Spurs controlled the series. Then LeBron went nuts and played out of his mind and the Heat played their best ball all Finals. And even then it took Bosh blocking Parker, a missed Kawhi free throw, Bosh getting an o rebound, Ray Allen hitting a desperation three, and Bosh blocking Green. Just to send it to overtime. The Heat played their best in the fourth, had a huge string of breaks over the last 20 seconds and still that was the best they could do.
How can they do it again?

one can also look at it as the spurs gave this game everything they had and fell apart when miami finally decided to punch back in the 4th,
you can look at what happened tonight in many different ways

The heat didnt play anywhere close to their best ball last night.

In the first 10 minutes of the fourth it was pretty damn good

No doubt, but they can put together a much better game. And have in the series. Thursday should be another great one. With everything on the line

Can we talk about how MIA has some of the crappiest fans?

Yeah I took that loss pretty hard.
Taking this one hard, too.
TBird,
I think you feel like I did with the Rangers in World Series Game 6 in 2011.
Albeit, you have championships in the past to console yourself with.

I've got to say, I don't think I've been this upset since 21-0...
The Spurs had the game won...how did they lose? why did they not foul and take it to a free-throw contest??

I hate second guessing, but it is a good question.
I think a more interesting question is what will Ginobli's role be tomorrow night? If he starts out quiet does he sit for most of the 2nd half? Or do they start him and try and recapture some of that game 5 magic.

I think the biggest question is how much do the old guys have left in the tank. Pretty much everybody played 40+ mins last night and that's a ton for someone 35+
