I'm huddling in the corner of my room with the lights off talking to myself and trying to convince myself that that didn't really happen

Monta Ellis is by far the best hs player I've ever seen play in person. He was astounding.

Just imagine what he could have done at State.
Him and Travis Outlaw were in the same class.

Was that the year Lawrence Roberts transferred in too?

Lawrence Roberts transferred to State in 03, Monta entered the NBA Draft in 2005, so I think they would have barely missed each other.
That 2004-2005 team was sick though.

I watched him and Charles Rhodes Monta's junior year play in the north half tourney in Pontotoc and they were amazing together. I got to watch him play my old HS in the state tourney his senior year and he destroyed one of my buddies by dropping 40.

No they weren't. Travis graduated in 03 and Monta was 05.

Tony Allen is apparently dealing with a migraine. We got WAOM'd hard apparently.
eta: Apparently his eye is swollen from getting poked.

Please tell me this isn't true..
I still think memphis has a chance w/o Randolph but w/o Allen... Impossible

I stand corrected. Either way, in a span of 3 years we lost Al Jefferson (Arkansas I know), Monta, and Travis Outlaw.

Even though I'm breathing a bit easier, I'm still nervous. Both teams are fighting for their lives now.

@WindhorstESPN: More unhappy news for Grizzlies. Tony Allen not in shootaround, just left arena with dark glasses & looked like may be suffering migraine
