This is Memorial Day, not Veterans Day.

part. You think it needs to be Veterans Day to thank the people that served and sacrificed?
It doesn't need to be Memorial Day if you care about the veterans or family that had loved ones fall. This day is for those who made or had to endure the ultimate sacrifice.

To all the members of my family who served and to the families of every man and woman who sacrificed his or her life for our wonderful country: Thank you.

If anything, when the title of your thread is "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE VETS" on Memorial Day, it can be be argued that you're the one being a dick

Not really. Just someone having an emotional day, and someone trying to lecture them on how it's not appropriate to thank vets today.

Absolutely. Some Vets are huge snowflakes. When someone thanks me for my service on Memorial day I tell them thank you politely and move on about my day. I dont feel the need to lecture them because, lets face it, what good does it do?

A snowflake thinks she knows what a "vetflake" is. That's adorable for an oxygen thief.

Are you going to lecture me and other teachers on what "irony" is again?

Well that's one one of your implausible theories. How many more do you have?
