Yep. I have nes snes, genesis, and n64 emulators on my laptop. I got a Bluetooth remote, and plug it into my tv. It works great. But I could see how less technically inclined people would love this system.

Man I hated Zelda 2. I couldn't wrap my head around it being so different than the original. "This is not the same game!!" Lol I don't think I've played it since it came out. SNES A Link to the Past......Holy crap wow was that awesome.

I liked Zelda 2 because it was really hard. At least it was hard for me at age 12. Fighting a shadow of yourself was cool too.

Damn right. 60 bucks is nothing for all those games in today's market. They hit a home run with this.

i still have my first nintento though i can't hook it up to anything anymore because we use HDMI now lol
nintendo could be like the best video game company of all time if they just concentrated on remaking xbox oone / ps4 releases of the following games

duck hunt that you somehow can only play when you have a blood alcohol level of .15 or higher (drunk duck hunt is the GOAT game)

i mean i don't remember any of these games enough to remember the plot so it would be like playing them all over again. Nintendo really doesn't have to come up with shite they are sitting on a gold mine and are blowing it

Because the game is only part of the experience. Playing a NES game with say a 360 controller sucks, and all those USB NES knockoff controllers feel like a cheap joke in your hand compared to the original.
I personally own a set of REAL NES controllers, a set of USB adaptors for those controllers, and a highly customized HTPC with a Kodi setup that can load any game from my couch so I don't need this. Most people don't have all of that though, and "cycle accurate emulator" means nothing to them.
I will still buy a few for presents for this reason.
