I thought so. The thing for me about hockey is I just don't know the rules and regular gameplay. Things happen and I'm just totally lost.

there really are a few basic rules that you need to understand. if you want to get into it, just pick one team and follow them. then watch the playoffs. the stanley cup playoffs are easily the best of any big 4 league

I can't imagine how difficult it is to watch football without knowing the rules. It's such a rules oriented game.

Hockey rules easy
Don't go past blue line before the puck does
Don't shoot puck out of rink
Don't let puck past you
Don't run into goalie
Don't use stick as weapon or grappling hook
Only 5 men on ice at once (not counting goalie)
Power play is 2 minutes unless you're a tpos then it's 5
