Ok the wifey and son and I flew from Tampa to Tucson yesterday (we’re in Tucson to bury her Dad); only stop was Atlanta....and Atlanta blows. People walking thru airports blow....Atlanta airport blows with their mostly Coke products arse. Lazy assholes in golf carts being shuttled around....young white men dressing like they’re rappers with trashy neck tats. Old black men with gigantic fake diamond earrings...they look like they’re wearing glass doorknobs on their ears. Other young white guys in camo and tactical backpacks acting like they’re going on a mission. Dumbass people walking 7 across blocking the walkways so you can’t get by.
Baggage handlers putting a bag on the carousel that has a tag on it that clearly says “DON’T PLACE BAG ON CAROUSEL” (this was in Tucson).
Have I mentioned that Atlanta blows? And we have to go back thru there on the way home too.

Flew out of and back into Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. It was fine except for the crappy signage to the Uber/Lyft pickup area.
We flew Southwest, and I guess I never realized how many people in wheelchairs flew. It seemed most of them were legitimately in need of one at least, but it seems most Southwest flights are at least partially a flying ambulance. Or maybe they just all fly Southwest because Southwest lets them board first.

We flew Delta and frick them for their $30 to check a bag. My SIL flies for Delta and I gave his load of shite over it ??

People that hate ATL airport are people who generally don't fly much. ATL is one the best, especially if you're flying Delta.

Flying used to be an ok experience. Now it’s just a cluster frick. The whole airline industry is so screwed up. The few that get it like Southwest (fast becoming just like a legacy airline) and Jet Blue aren’t in enough airports and the legacy carriers are just the worst leftovers of what they used to be. I’m a conservative but I have to think that when we deregulated the airlines, we created a disaster. It’s just different levels of bad now. If you want to fly the way it should be, fly with KLM, Singapore Airlines, Emirates Air, one of those outfits. It’s the way US carriers used to be before airports became livestock yards.
