Moving to Columbia MO

Just found out I'll be moving to Columbia in August. I've visited before but don't know much about the town. Any suggestions about good places to look for a one bedroom apartment would be appreciated. I'll have an office downtown, but seems like everything is relatively close. Thanks

PSA - buy lots of Mizzou stuff before you get there. DO NOT WEAR ANY GUMP CLOTHING EVER IN COMO!!!!

as far as houses go, more south you go, nicer it gets. Nifong st is what you want to be close to.

Not a ton of Nifong or Rock Quarry Rd left. Can't remember the name of the big street through S Columbia now. However, it looks like south is still the part of town to be, especially for a renter.

Only time I'll wear any Bama stuff is gamedays. Not a sidewalker so hopefully I can get rid of the hick label haha. Appreciate the suggestions, I'll be up next weekend visiting and checking out apartments
