Though some have disagreed, I think you are right. There are two very different groups with very different views. Those views may often overlap on some subjects but they are different.
Now. That having been said. SE Arkansas is REDNECK. Black and white. Fifty or sixty years ago that was the population center, along with Little Rock of the state.
Today SE Arkansas is a ghost town. The state is far more hillbilly now than it used to be. But it is still very redneck down there. As someone said... SE Arkansas and Northern Louisiana are about as redneck as you can get.

Georgia is pretty goddamn redneck. Atlanta skews shite bc people don’t understand that there is a population who don’t live there.
