I dont want to say its overrated, because im sure the game had 90% to do with it, but When I went to George a few years back for the 9-6 game, I was pretty unimpressed. again im sure it was quiet inside because, who can get excited for a game with 12 combined points.
I'll have to go back to revisit.
Thought william brice was solid. vandys stadium was what I expected.

I have been to about 12 games in Athens. Most unimpressive in every way.
I think it’s embarrassing for an sec Stadium to have trees visible from field level.
It looks “ACC” to have trees visible. You have to bowl that shite in until you don’t see trees. ETA. Or at least until you only see the top fourth of some tall-assed trees.
Obscure rant but true for the sec. definitely for the Big 6 of the sec.

I think it's actually a very cool, and unique feature.

It's gonna be tough to do too much to the concourses based on the location of the stadium. The stadium being smack dab in the middle of campus is part of it's appeal. There is nothing like being able to walk to class everyday and see inside the stadium. However, there is no room to expand the infrastructure in much way. It is landlocked on all four sides by roads or buildings. The open end does take the sound away but it also makes it distinctive and unique.

The Big House in 2003. Lifelong neighbor is a Michigan grad and always wanted me and my wife to go. It was a top ten matchup with Ohio State and I was really disappointed. Zero life in that stadium.
Was here to post this. Wasn’t impressed at all with the Big House

Trees are a pretty thing. They pacify folks. So does watching fish in a tank. It lowers blood pressure.
Look at LSU. Look at Tennessee. Those are sec stadiums.
Acc stadiums like wake, duke etc all say “hey, look at our pretty trees, anything to get you to not look at our football. B-ball season comin up.”
Bowl that shite in if you are SEC. there is only one thing people come to see. Football.

That might have been the second worst home game atmosphere I've ever seen at Sanford... It was 90% the game, and 10% just frustration with the direction of the program under Richt.
The worst that I can recall was back in like 2000 against Ole Miss IIRC (brain is admittedly quite foggy here). Again, a coach on the way out (Donnan), season was largely already defined (losses to UF and AU... lost to Tech the next week just to seal his fate), and the weather was just abysmal. Just above freezing and constant rain. It was a win and I'm not sure anyone felt like they won by watching... Had to leave early with a female friend who was damn near hypothermic.

This is dumb. Their stadium is bowled in. You can see trees in one end zone because it’s built in a valley

Lsu. Stadium was dirty. People left early. It got loud but very very rarely.
Well, we haven't really needed a reason to get loud vs Aggy since y'all started coming here again. I imagine this year will be tad different. The best thing for this rivalry was that 74-72 game last year.

Ole Miss, terrible football atmosphere. From the tailgating to the stadium. To the after game atmosphere.

You don’t know shite. That looks like NCState.
ETA. And by bowl it in, I’m not talking about put some bleachers up in the end zone. I’m talking about a real bowl. Like 70 rows up.

Bowling it in to a point where you couldn’t see those trees would create an unnecessarily huge stadium. Easily 115k plus based on my very amateur eye test.

For me, it'd have to be LSU's Tiger Stadium. It just wasn't all that.

Texas fricking sucks. I'm spoiled by tiger stadium though.. hell, the crowd was the only reason bama struggled on offense early because the team didnt do shite.

The answer has to be Jordan-Hare Stadium. Bama and UGA fans have claimed Auburn is unbeatable in JHS.

Today's fan is looking at their cell phone while he is taking a piss at the urinal. Also can't yell when they are missing the big plays because they are watching their phone screen rather than the game. Then by halftime their phone batteries have run down and they have to leave the game.
You're talking about Vaught-Hemingway, right?

Sanford Stadium in Athens sucks.

It’s a 92k seat stadium that consistently sells out and you’re comparing it to an ACC stadium because of trees
