90 acres on the river. I think this is for most expensive homes for sale currently, btw. GA's home listed is not the biggest, badest or most exspensive

If that house is listed at 15 mil, I should be able to get at least 50 mil for mine.

It looks like a warden's office on a penal farm.

List is interesting but bullshite.

First of all, Biltmore is the most expensive privately owned residence in the entire country ... and it is not listed as NC's most expensive home. And there are several other island homes up around New York and over to Michigan that would dominate those states' private home market in terms of most expensive.

Secondly, in South Carolina, I know of at least two homes valued above Gene Reed's place that is for sale on Legare. Both of them on beachfront, one of them on the IOP and the other on Fripp, that are valued above $30 million.

So, while the list is interesting it is bullshite.

The Crespi-Hicks Estate, which is being quietly shopped off of the Multiple Listing Services, wants a staggering $135 million. The best part: it’s not located in San Francisco, or even New York City. America’s new most expensive home for sale is in Dallas, Texas.

The Dallas estate sits behind wrought iron gates in the ultra elite Mayflower Estates neighborhood. Spanning 25 acres, the compound boasts roughly 42,500 square feet of living space including a five-story main house, a two-story guest house and a three-story pool house. It’s owned by Thomas and Cinda Hicks, former Forbes 400 listmakers whose personal net worth swelled as large as $1.4 billion in 2008.Tom Hicks is the former chairman of private equity firm Hicks and current chairman of Hicks Holdings. He is also the former owner of several professional sports teams including the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and Liverpool Soccer Club.

Thought you were trolling OP. I went through the entire slideshow to see if it has a 2,000,000sf bunker underneath it.

oh rooster, the alzheimers is really taking a toll on you ol' pal.

The list is from realtor.com and only includes homes currently on the market. Unless the Biltmore is for sale currently it wouldn't be included on the list.

Oh and the Biltmore is OT trashy btw.

So, I'm guessing you have 540 acres on the Tennessee river?

it says something about your business practices when the next CEO walks in with just about the same roster and makes the World Series.

There's one in Tennessee down the road from us on the mountain that is up for sale for about ~$3 million.

It has a stone castle tower. My mom has been inside. I never have.

I know a girl from West Point that lived in a fairly new 15,000sqft fricking mansion. You can bet your arse its worth more than 5 mil.
