We are constantly getting "lone wolf" threats from Isis. I guess I should never go any where in public in my uniform or show my military ID.
Sorry guys, we can't go to lunch off base. There might be a Lone Wolf and we need to live in fear. Dinning Facility all the way!!!!

As I said Monday - these protestors are going to over-reach and go to far. We are seeing it now. The backlash is starting. This is going to end up backfiring on them in some ways.
Already, their leader is exposed for the fraud he is - him telling ANYONE to admit their privilege is just asinine. His deputy was exposed in lies last night, and IMO should be forced to resign. They are doing other black students no favors.
I sincerely hope this professor will change his mind as things begin to calm. Assuming the protestors let it calm. KKK on campus my arse.

Personally, I hope the professor tells Mizzou to frick off and ends up at a school that appreciates him enough to not be held hostage by some SJWs.

Amen Semo ... but remember what my dear old Grandpappy used to say in times like these.
"Sometimes you gotta make a mess to fix a mess."
Sensible Mizzou fans, boosters and professors need to really make this messy for the bad element that caused all of this.
And honestly, Pinkel should be fired IMHO.

The University refused to accept his resignation, which he had proffered independently.
He seems to be a much respected professor by the students.

It's awfully cute that wouldn't accept his resignation.

Give a little credit to the admin for doing the right thing in this instance,

The ones doing all the bitching are limousine liberals or people on minority scholarships. They don't give a damn if tuition goes up

Ok so they are real enough threats that the FBI took action, but not real enough that the public shouldn't? I'm confused. If the FBI did not feel it was serious enough to act on, then yeah the public doesn't.
I will say, if he was willing to do make up exams for the students then there shouldn't be an issue. That means he isn't forcing anyone to attend class and is accomidating students that feel threatened.
And with regards to ISIS, I have already said broad threats are different than direct threats. ISIS saying they will kill US soldiers does not mean all US soldiers need to hide. But if ISIS said they would kill all soldiers at Fort Poke on Saturday, we may want to be on alert.

How often has it occurred that:
1. someone has made a specific threat to harm a group of people
2. Gave the exact date and target
3. Followed through on the threat.
Just curious.

No siht. He accommodated anyone that didn't feel that his classroom was a "safe space". This is more bullying the admin to get get him fired because their feelings were hurt by words. WORDS! Just fricking words. Basically he told the kids to "rub dirt on it" but if you are not coming to class then I'll allow you to take it later. They still got mad.
Pussification of youth: It's rampant.

What was he charged with? He wasn't charged with armed criminal action. He wasn't charged with 1st degree murder. He wasn't charged with assault. He was charged with making a terrorist threat. It was a real terrorist threat. It wasn't really going to happen.

Is it too late to swap Mizzou for Georgia St in the SEC?

I won't disagree but we're hardly the only school like UC-B.....this is just the beginning.

How do you know they are on "minority" scholarships?? I bet you assumed I had a minority scholarship for Mizzou too. Hell I made monthly payments. I'm sure a lot of blacks make pmts...we do have jobs while in school just like the white students.
I guess that's where the "they get free stuff" comes in at. People assume blacks go to college for free or get minority scholarships. Do you wanna know how many blacks are in debt after college..school is not free for us like most people think. Mizzou have a lot of middle class blacks, their parents probably paid for their tuition. It's not a cheap school and they just don't let any "thug" in like they do down at Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State, etc. It's not easy to get into Mizzou. SO the blacks that go there most likely have money.

Some people on twitter (some probably fake accounts) were also posting images of the KKK, from google, and saying they were pics taken on campus.
This is a South Park episode that has come to life.
