LA >>> GA
If for no other reason NOLA is far better than anything GA has to offer.
The food and drink in south LA, both creole and cajun, smashes anything GA has to offer.
The New Orleans music scene is amazing.
Athens is great but not enough to make up for the rest of the state.

I'm tired of trying to educate you. No one will understand or respect how massive the Mississippi River is unless they've lived here.

I've gotta say, I've actually not had true creole food very often.

me neither. Its not as common as most think. I would say we have more good italian food than creole at this point

There was a pizza place near Tulane I went to and I thought it was great.

It wasn't bad when I was drunk leaving the Boot on 50 cent longneck night

No, it was on South Carrollton. Just looked it up, it was called Louisiana Pizza Kitchen. I suppose it's not right at Tulane, it's just in that general part of the city.

Never been. When I go uptown I like to hit up Cooter Browns. Radiator special. Po Boy with fried shrimp and oysters cover in 3 kinds of melted cheese.

LA wins food hands down.
GA wins humidity no doubt.

I'm going out to enjoy the NBA all star party in New Orleans. You Ga people are not. Thus La > Ga

Hurricanes do hit here more often. Georgia hadn't been struck in like, 100 years. It's Georgia's turn to get hit by a cat5.

Hell, I'd say that's a bonus for Ga that you took the NBA trash off our hands.

Yep, we're due.
Good thing our only large coastal city is built on a 40 foot bluff over the Savannah River.
Can't say the same for Charleston or New Orleans.
Oglethorpe picked out a great place to build a coastal city.

Well keep the SECCG. We're going to have the College Football HOF.
You can have the NBA crap.

We had the NBA All Star game a few years ago.
We had the Final Four a few years ago.
We'll get them both again.
But like you said, not alot of people really give a damn about basketball.

Most of the state is southern piedmont with rich soil for a variety of agriculture, from peaches to tobacco to timber, dotted with reservoirs for recreation and high quality bass habitat.
Actually tobacco was never grown in the "Piedmont". It was grown in Georgia's coastal plain as are most row crops, and tobacco growing has about dried up b/c of the "buy back" of allotments over the past 10 years. Cotton and peanuts are thriving, though.
