Hate on, hater.
The eastern half of Virginia might be the most historically rich state in the entire country.
Plus VA is one of the richest and most well educated states in the country.

I think he was referring to my north LA joke.
Louisiana only exists south of I-10. Fact.
ETA: We may have annexed some areas up to 50 miles north of the wall.

Haha yeah I was referring to Alexandria, "LA"

Gulfport Mississippi is pretty darn close to New Orleans - and it has miles and miles of decent man-made beaches
Exactly. Louisiana should quit whining and complaining about the lack of beaches and make one. I mean, if Mississippi can do it ...

You're a goddamned dense bastard. How many times do you need this explained to you? Besides, screw your sandy beaches. We fish.

No, it exposes my frustration with your continued retardation.

Insecurity my friend. I mean, c'mon, you're coming up with 'excuses' as to why Louisiana has no beaches.
Who the heck cares why? I mean, does the why of it really matter?
If I were a Louisianian (or whatever you call yourselves) I would be using the Mississippi as a selling point, not as an excuse for a lack of beach front.
I mean, you've got the Mighty Mississip rolling through your state and you're complaining about it.

Mississippi beaches are terrible. Biloxi, Gulfport, etc. All trash. I think the best thing they have going are casino's.

They are not good.
But they've got 'em and people do visit them.
I've seen it!

Mostly air force kids that have nothing to do except walk away from base so they can get laid.

From what I saw on those beaches when I happened to glance over, I would flee from that place just on the off chance I might accidently get laid.
Not exactly a place where the swimsuit models hang out.

I would say the ratio of big girls to small ones in that area of Mississippi is like 10-1. My wife graduated high school in Gulfport. She was 17 when we married and I was there for tech school at Keesler so she finished her diploma in that area. I fricking hated it. It's a shithole . That being said, I still visit from time to time to hit the IP casino and do some gambling/drinking.

I did seem to notice a high proportion of beached whales, but I had no idea if that was a local phenomenon or out-of-towners.
I haven't spent a lot of time in Gulfport, but I did enjoy the time that I have spent. Ate at The Chimneys (awesome) and other nice restaurants and the locals were very nice.
