I'm not sure who you're trying to troll the most.

Animal lovers? What normal person wants to see dogs get abused?

People who view different felonies differently?

Most normal people would be most passionate about crimes that occur close to what offends them the most.

Not trying to troll anyone. I mean exactly what I say. I thinking beating a woman unconscious with your hands is worse than having dogs kill each other. Yet it won't get anywhere close to the public outrage.

Everybody seems to be giving you a hard time but I agree with what I think your point is. What Vick did was terrible and he got the jail time he deserved IMO. But we as a society should consider why we don't demand jail time for people that are violent to HUMANS. If you believe, like I do, that humans have infinite more value than dogs, then what Rice did was worse and should involve serious jail time. Obviously it won't and PLEASE don't take this as me excusing Vick. Vick got what he deserved, Rice surely won't. That's what's screwed up to me.

Bingo. People who think I must hate dogs or animals but they are thinking too much (or not enough). I'm just saying that more outrage should be reserved for those inflicting their violence upon our ladies, instead of our pets.

2 game suspension. No pickets or talks of pickets so far at any pre season games. No jail time. The entire point of this thread proven. What a dame shame.

I didn't say activists. I said animal lovers. And they should care because they themselves are human, as is the victim.

Why are you advocating for this topic on an internet forum when you could be helping the starving children worldwide or any other number of human causes. I'm not seeing the problem here, but its all good and I'll leave you to it.

Because the "starving children worldwide or any other number of human causes" message board is run by nazi's and a real downer if I'm honest.

What magical world do you live in where people don't demand jail time for those who are violent toward humans?

Nobody is up in arms about Ray Rice serving serious jail time right now, only that his suspension was just two games.

Sooooo, I guess I'm living in this world.

Did you just compare a black woman to a dog?

Steven A. Smith would say the difference is that the woman probably did something to deserve it. The dogs didnt.

I've seen a lot of people express that (that he should be locked up).

But so should she. Unfortunately in this day and age with the right lawyers and enough money you can get out of almost anything. And even if you don't, there's a solid chance that you get out in good behavior before 1/3 of your sentence is served.
