Let's Discuss Mount Everest Conspiracy

For instance, what’s the tallest supposed mountain on Earth? Everest. Except it isn’t. The name is a giveaway; it’s clearly a morphing of “never rest”, because if you wanted to go to the biggest mountain you’d literally never rest, because it isn’t actually there. What about all those people who have climbed it, you say? Well, consider all the people who have died supposedly doing so. How do you die climbing something that isn’t there? You can’t. They were obviously killed to protect the conspiracy, whereas those who “survived” were willing to play ball.

I am always in the mood for a conspiracy theory.
Never considered that Mount E. could be a fraud. Thanks pioneer.
I will continue to keep my eyes open for truth.

I was there in the 70's when they bombed it. I think it was home grown terrorist back then not foreign ones. Maybe the bombing was just part of a government coverup?

Technically speaking... you are correct. Mt. Everest isn't the tallest mountain in the world.
If you measure from the center of the Earth then the tallest mountain is Chimborazo in the Andes. Its several thousand feet shorter then Mt. Everest when measured by sea level but since its squatting on the equator, which bulges out like a post Super Bowl party waist line, it has Everest beat. In fact, if you measure from the center of the Earth, Everest isn't in the top 20.
If you go by where a mountain "starts" then the tallest mountain would be Mt. Kea in Hawaii. Since it starts at the bottom of a particularly deep section of the Pacific ocean and most of it is under water Mt. Kea isn't particularly tall above sea level.

I’ve never heard anyone refer to Everest as the tallest. Only the deadliest due to its weather and sheer number of deaths.

As someone who’s trekked to base camp I feel the need to tell you to lay off the drugs.
Another poster pointed out technically it’s Chimborazo although if you measure at sea level it’s Aconcagua which rises 22,828 feet (6,961 metres) above sea level.

This reminds me of the fact that there is no such thing as Australia.
Everyone you meet that's "from there" is a paid actor. The supposed continent is not real. You are taken to a remote chunk of land in asia to keep the illusion going

OP is actually correct. Mount Everest is the location of the God Emperor’s labs where he is developing the technology necessary to usher in the imperium and next age of man. There is a mountain there but it isn’t the highest and they do kill intruders there.

Is it where the Golden Throne of Terra is located? I always pictured that as actually being in Newark, New Jersey.

My man
, yes, that’s where it is and I also imagine that everything will look like Newark by the time it gets activated.

Heh, I cheat. The Dembski-Bowdens are friends of mine so I've read Aaron's books. One of these days I'll finish off the Horus Heresy series.
